riding out to joshua tree this weekend for some camping.

topped off the engine oil, primary oil, tightened down the battery terminals and engine mounts then cleaned and checked the gap on the plugs.

should be good to go!

well last summer stopped by to visit the old timer i bought the panhead from

ended up going home with this

changed it up and went to buckhorns

after the swap on sunday i had some free time to fuck around
[SIZE=2]-swapped the buckhorns back to the z-bars
-dialed in the super E
-added some timing
-went to high mids with floor boards (not sure how i feel about them still)
-swapped the black primary cover for a chrome
-scored a straight kicker arm at the swap so i could ditch the cheesy offset one
-changed out the front brake lever to a panhead blade lever
-took off the tach
-swapped the rocker clutch setup for a regular foot clutch pedal

decided to ditch the floorboards and shorten up these Anderson pegs for the front and rear…

drilled a new mounting hole

lopped off an inch

wasnt interested in clearancing the front pegs for them to swing up

took a bit longer to do the rears so they fold up

a few nights ago i bumped up my super E jetting to a .0295 intermediate and a .070 main.
i realized i had the accelerator pumped turned out almost 3.5 turns on my previous jetting (.028 and .068)
now its pretty much dialed.

currently waiting to put a slew of parts on the shovelhead.

scored some OEM 1949-1959 Hydra-Glide triple trees that have been chromed and are in great shape

a one off custom one piece riser to fit the early glide 4-3/4" riser spacing

flanders #1 bend handlebars

OE style chrome 49-59 Damper kit…from vtwin (ugh i know but try finding one of these that are complete)

colony OE style rocker nuts (not a huge fan of the knuckle style chrome ones)

OEM lower triple tree bearing, race and dust deal

overall im pretty pumped on how this one is turning out…
