Then Jennifer was at the mall…driving along when some mexican guy in a 2010 Corolla decided that he didn’t want to stay in his own lane…so I then ended up with this…

Which the insurance company decided would cost too much to repair.

I. Total Labor: 3392.40
II. Total Replacement Parts: 3580.80
II. Total Additional Costs: 584.76
Gross Total: 7557.96

Net Total: 7557.96

After getting a call from the total loss department at Progressive I ended up with a check for $10,500.00 (while I only had ~$6500 left on the loan).

Later that evening I ended up with this…

I had a 1994 T5 wagon a few years ago and loved the thing. This presented itself and since we’re driving across the country in a few months I figured it’s as good a car as any to do that in.

Also, the remainder of the money went into my motorcycle fund. Hopefully going to have something fun to drive by mid summer.

It needed a few motor mounts, new wheel/tire, all of the panels on the driver side of the car were damaged, the door hinges on the front driver side door were broken new headlights, god knows how both of them were broken…was just too much for me to take on with no garage.
