Well as some of you know, this past january i took my grey s13 off the road…it was rusted to HELL, beyond repair even for sockington…well since then i bought a shell in march and worked on it, and put as much money as i could into it, only making 8.50 an hour untill june part time, and paying insurance gas(i commute frm the country to school) phone bill and food money i had not much, but now i have a good job and am going to spend lots on her
so this is how far i am, engine is in, all ready to go harness is all in etc etc
i wired up an electric fan, put the front bumper rebar on and put the bumper on, put all of the heater hoses, heater core etc in and under the dash, that was a big job BTW…then i bought a momo steering wheel and 180sx brakes for 50 bucks WAHOO deal…the dash is in, and so is some of the rear interior…it was hicas so instead of getting a lock bar, i took everything out and bought a non hicas subframe, the non hicas subframe needs a new bearing and a driveshaft put in. Ill get that done tomorow i think. And of course i bought new bushings and stuff
I replaced the hatch with mint spoirless one and am currently shaving everything off for a nice smooth look, along with the rear subframe i was able to get a rear skirt from S13GG, hes a good guy. i put that on, had the rear lights painted red and painted over the middle reflecter to make it white.
i bought megan racing lower springs and was going to put them on stock struts. I decided that this wasnt a good idea as they will blow. So im spending the $500 next month and getting KYB AGX from phill…i like the fact that they are practical, are long lasting, and are adjustable…
ontop of that this is what i still plan to do…
buy a stainless catback exhaust
stock or 180sx side skirts
get the KYB’s
and i want to paint the roof gloss black
and thats it for mods
but as for things to still do to the car
weld the floors, and weld the frame
put in the rest of the interior
put in the rear subframe, and all suspension front and back
run new gas lines, and put in my gas tank
do a brake job
and i think she will be good to go, its not that much left, im more just waiting on money so i can get the rest of the parts, and to borrow a welder…
so thats pretty much it, i cleaned up my garage yesterday(4 hours of work) and i washed my car because there was an inch of dust, and saw dust on. My dad has a handyman business on the side for fun and is cutting wood in there sometimes
