So back in November I ran a 10.79 on a Stock Block Evo 8. Well the car went under the knife in a quest for 9’s. Here are some pictures of the work being done. All work has been done by Street Tuned Motorsports of Rochester NY. The mods on this car is a FP Red Turbo, Kelford 272 cams, ARP Headstuds, Full Turbo Back Exahust, Buschur Racing Race Front Mount Intercooler, Megan Coilovers, Buschur Racing Double Fuel Pump, STM Custom Fuel Return, Regulator, Fuel Rail.
These first pictures are how it sat in NOV before going under the knife.
Here is some crap we took out to shave weight. Yes i got rid of the Heater and AC now. Also removed some wiring. Here is a comparison of STM’s 10 slip and my 10.79 slip.
The built aluminum IC piping and a oil catch can for the car while it was there. It had a mild steel IC pipe in it that was starting to rust on the inside.
He is doing it right. These Injectors are the same thing as the ID2000. They will tune out great and it will have plenty of power along with a great IDC. At 500 WHP on our dyno they should sit at about 80% without modding the pumps.
That is a never ending argument. What is a street car?
I would say a car that can be driven on the street. Before the snow came I even took out our hark blocked evo to dinner and for a cruise so I guess for everyone the term “street car” is different.
