lol my momma wasent to happy when i called her and said… hey ma… i lied i dident sleep over joshs and go to holiday vally … i drove my 300 doller car to the adirondiks…
OMG though ice face… yeah that name lived to its rep by the end of the day… it wasent that icy though… just hard base… but being the first on the run in the morning with 5 inches of untuched powder was a dream… pure amazing
At one point I made it up there for a weekend 4 winter breaks in a row with a buddy of mine.
A weekend trip is the ultimate way to do it, because getting a few hours of sleep before hitting amazing powder > driving for 8 hours straight and doing it.
No taking weekdays off and having a friend that instructs there and lives 10 miles away is the ultimate way. No crowds, free lifts, have enough time to get hammered on UBU ale and still get 7 hours sleep for the next day.
