I’m not gunna lie, I think the car is way over the top. Way overdone for my taste - and thats why I like it. Its really different and You’ve really busted your ass and done everything Yourself. So regardless of the fact its not My style Kudo’s for being “built not bought” and for doing what YOU want and not following the whole JDMTYTEVTAK trends.

I gutted the whole interior which ill start re-doing in that black ostridge leather with a rusty burnt copper colour for the inserts and little peices here and there. Heres my old interior for sale. http://www.son240sx.org/forums/showthread.php?p=274055#post274055
Heres the vents in the fenders im making just for style.
Lots of missing panels…widebody had to come off to be glued on vs being riveted then molded. Just got the 1/4 windows out too. I trimmed the lip on the inside of the overfenders and then applied more fiberglass to really strengthen the panel. Without the lip it was pretty flimsy.
With the front end off its much easier to work on and comes off in 2 minutes without much flexing at all.
I think for this im going to cut a hole slightly bigger than the cap and build a little frame inside of the fender and then fill it with short strand bondo(fiberglass). Then press the cap covered in clear tape and car wax into the bondo/glass after its cured a bit. Leave that until the bondo/glass is fairly dry before pulling it off and that will leave me with a perfect edge around the gas cap.

Then i took them apart the next day and started masking them up
I painted the insides all black leaving where the masking tape is between the circles clear. As for the circles them selves i painted with a spray tint, aka smoke or transparent black
Just the lights on…they are damn bright when the brakes are on

I cant waiit to get all the bodywork done and just have it painted all black. Interior work will go by quick within a week or two after getting it painted. id much rather do 40 hours of interior than even try to do 10 hours of bodywork. Im thinking of putting a gold/bronze pearl into the paint to really set off the paint when the suns out and it would go well with the inserts im sewing up for the interior.
those lights are nice, did u paint from the inside?..oh and im loving the deep dish with pepsi!

Yesir i painted them from the inside…i hate taking taillights apart!! but its 10x worth it in the end.
I used beutel which is like sticky tack…not so sticky but more like gum to seal the taillights so if for any reason they are coming apart it will be a breeze 
They used this stuff back in the day before urethane became the standard for installing windshields.

please dont mold those over fenders back on devan, just rivet them on and call it a day. It looks alot better IMO.
