FIRST OF ALL, its still dirty
Just brought the car back from Ians.
Its been up there for a while where he was installing my Intercooler, Rad and lights.
it also has megan coilovers as well now.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROJECT IS NOT FINISHED
its in test mode now.
There will be ducting between teh IC and the hood as well as surrounds for the lights and finished body work, its all temp right now.
On another note, Ian (rotorkami wa) of Battle Auto Salon, has done an amazing job
the welding work is beautiful and all those that have seen it will agree.
He is great to deal with, and he is very much an overachiever, over building everything.
I highly recommend doing business with him.

the rad gets all teh air in the stock bumper duct. everything from there up goes to the intercooler

240 looks stiff, dont rice it out, it looks perfect right now, i’d even keep it dirty lol jk but yeah keep it up man great work, i remember when i first saw it the car was stock, and that was when ? not too long ago. awsome car.
yeah its still sitting there in pieces… well it was almost stock, ALL it had was the sr in it, no other mods, and it didnt even run, i think all u did was bolt the thing on back then
damper is made of 1/8" 6061-T6 on the strut tower side and ~.044" wall .75" square steel tube with a 3/8" steel base plate mounted to the block… it was done in two pc’s to facilitate the possible replacement with a 91D ureathane damper as it is, it looks like this torque stay is working out fine. the in the tube DOES allow for a minimal ammount of flex under extreme conditions but not too much… all the fittings (3) on the block side are 9.8 with a stainless 8mm through the connection/pivot point. everything was TIG welded nothing has been powder coated or painted yet pending more work.

the rad gets Fresh air, unlike yours
the Intercooler gets fresh air
i have about a foot of piping, compaired to your 7.5 i beleive the greddy kit has.
My throttle response is insain, far better than yours
it boosts sooner than yours
and if you read up on aerodynamics, the scoop used for the intercooler actually adds down force.
if you look at the strut tower, the end plate, which will soon also the be for the STB, has a tab that runs down teh side and bolted in.
So you would have to get the stb modified or put the same thing that i have under it
