HC Recent Work

Here’s pics of a bunch of our recent work.

The first car is Andy’s R32 Skyline GT-R. As with any car from 91, it needed a little TLC, having a blown rear diff, some drivability issues, and a blown stock turbo. He also wanted his engine / suspension / gauge cluster / ecu (half the car) replaced with goods he got with a front clip he purchased.

We completely disassembled the front clip, followed by Andy’s car, and installed the aftermarket parts from the clip including HKS Intake pipes, a huge Blitz FMIC, Cusco Strut Bar, Sway Bars, and other bits, JIC FLTA2 Coilovers, Project Mu Rotors, HKS EVC, HKS Boost Gauge, Turbo Timer, Nismo Clutch, Nismo Gauge Cluster, and a new rear end with a Nismo LSD.

http://www.hybridconnection.com/page_pics/r32_done.jpgNext up, we have the Kustom Workz R33 Skyline GT-R. This thing isn’t the pig it was last year running less than stock horsepower. We gave it a good once over fixing a bunch of wiring issues, installed a pair of HKS GT28 turbochargers, fixed a bunch of boost leaks we found during multple rounds of boost leak testing. Eliminate one weak leak and move on to the next! (including the riveted HKS plates in the compressor housings!), fabricated a 2-1 3.0" stainless steel downpipe and Don put a base tune on the AEM EMS so the car was drivable. This car was fine tuned on a dyno and hauls on top end, it made 452 whp @ 20 psi. This setup still has more left in it, but he has reached the safe limits of the injectors in the car, and this is still on stock head / block. More to come down the road.

We also Custom Fabricated a Front Mount Intercooler for this 06 WRX. This was a return customer who had been in previously for installation of an FP Green Turbocharger, 3.0" Turbo Inlet, larger injectors, and turboback exhaust. We fabbed everything for this project in house, including the Intercooler piping and endtanks for the Garrett Bar & Plate Core which is rated for 475 HP.

Last but not least, was Dave’s APS TT 350z in the thread here:
http://www.nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17924

Dave had the engine completely torn down and reassembled, and installed a ton of supporting mods to give him a reliable track slut of a car, and it should be a blast.

We also have nitrous refills and methanol available, and as always CRUNK!!!
