Apparently they were doing a demonstration at an nVidia conference demonstrating the power of a single CPU vs. GPU chips.

Looks like they just shot a 1000 preset paintballs at a sheet of paper to me. I don’t understand what that has to do with processing. What did it have to computer?

Or is it just an analogy?

Just an analogy. They were comparing the first robot x-y single shot picture (single cpu), to the multi-barreled mona-lisa picture (gpu). The super slo-mo was also cool as hell.
