my maxima revs to 7200 with ECU upgrade but known to go close to 8k
I shifted a few times at 8k last year with my 3.0 V6 (VG30DETT) … but by mistake when I was running that damn FD Jones… :ham:

its a 300ZX because its a 3.0…and they do about 7000
actually 7200…
and with a bit of work they can be made to make power up to 8000…
and +1 on the NSX

No, can you please exlpain???
was that a serious question?
anyway v6 is just like it says, 6 cylinders in a “V” with 3 cylinders on each side, inline 6 is 6 cylinders all in a row
does the vr6 out of a vw count?
except vr’s don’t make power when they are wound that high

The HRs are 7500 stock.
+1 for the VQ35HR. im betting with a little modification, they could easily make power over 8000, especially tt. i dont think thats been proven yet though.

and Jay ur not Crazy…i know that MOTAAAAAAAAAAAR

 I like that you classed it up by using the Engine Code. KL03 = FORD PROBE GT/MX6 2.5 V6 motor what about the KLZE? Id rather rev that thing than the USDM

klze, kl03 whichever both can be built either way lol there was a company semi local to here that used to build “race motors” for lapping days… the name escapes me, rick would probably remember.
found it : http://www.interpreptuning.com/
Chevy 4.3
Cam, headwork, good too 68-6900 rpms. Theres a small dropoff after 5k, which is why people say the 4.3’s cant breathe after 5000rpms, which theyre slightly right. While there is a dropoff after 5000 rpms, the motor itself is still making significant amounts of power.

the v6 out of the tl doesn’t it rev to 7k?
why is there so much talk in this thread about V6’s that rev to 7000? didnt the initial post of the thread ask about any that go to 8000?
