Nanobridges 1.58 distance

I’m looking to share the internet from my house to my shop which is 1.58 miles away. I was told that the Nanobridge is the way to go. Does anybody have any experience with this? I am only doing this because I do not have anything else available but my 2mb DSL and it’s killing me.

Do it up?

I know they work over a greater distance do you have a clear line of sight between both locations?

I do. I guess what I’m wondering is if someone had any experience and can suggest one of another. I see 900mhz, 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz I’m wondering what would be best.

I thought one of their selling points was the stuff just works for upto X distance and you don’t need to worry about frequency and power.

Oh OK I’ll have to look into it more. Thanks

There’s a 5gz on Amazon with great reviews.

You need to have a line of sight between the two places so hopefully you want to build a tower somewhere or have a really high building.

If you can, check for interference on those wavelengths to decide which one to buy. The 2.4ghz range is used for so much these days, it can get a little crowded. That’s one of the main reasons for the switch to 5ghz. I have it set up at a customers location as a backup to their fiber line to connect two buildings, and it seems to work. They used to use it to connect two other buildings before that were about that far, and there were a bunch of trees in the way. They still got a 20Mb connection between the two.

If you wait into fall to put this in keep in mind trees will have many more leafs(for line of sight)

I worked with a company that made this mistake they ended up hacking up trees and moving the dishes higher.
