Well the details are finalized and we are set to go.

SCHEDULE
11:00am - Meet at Gateway Park in Edmonton (MAP) and Deerfoot Mall in Calgary (MAP)
11:30am - LEAVE for Red Deer
1:00pm - Meet up at Westerner Park in Red Deer for pictures.

2:30pm - Cruise to Sylvan Lake
3:00pm - More pics, BBQ and a nice friendly game of football.

FOOD
$5 - Gets you a food ticket good for any 4 items. hot dog, chips, drink. So you can get say 4 dogs and no drink no chips or 2 dogs a drink and chips etc. Im sure most people will get one of each and 2 dogs but atleast it gives you the option. If people want more of something, items are $2 each.

NECC will have golf shirts for sale aswell as membership forms and details on our upcoming events.

This looks like it will be the biggest Nissan meet EVER in Alberta. Last years meet was the biggest to date, but we can definitely improve on the numbers.

Also, NO EXCESSIVE SPEEDING! We all know nobody travels the speed limit on Hwy 2, but we need to keep speeds reasonable. We don’t need anyone getting hurt.

Mike, You may need to contact the Town of Sylvan Lake to see if there is a place to park that many cars. The long weekend in July saw 30,000 people there at the beach and it was an absolute zoo. I cruised through there last weekend on my way home from a saturday meeting in Red Deer and it was still packed with absolutely no place to park.

I would suggest getting something arranged in advance so that it doesn’t turn into a giant cluster F&#@ trying to find parking for the entire group only to have everyone go in different directions looking for individual spots and eventually everyone splitting up and no one finding each other.

Of course there is the requisite cruise (at almost literally a snail’s pace) down the main road along the beach.

As you know, I am unfortuanately unable to make this event again this year. Have fun guys.
