I’ve read that having a very nice looking front door really makes a big difference.
Yeah there are a few things I know I need to do that will make a big curb appeal difference. Get the chimney painted, clean up the backyard, fix the front door that we don’t use so that it opens and closes smoothly…
I want a realtor’s opinion on this one, but you guys can go ahead and throw your two cents at me. I’m thinking I’ll need to undo this to sell the house, since it kind of makes the 2nd upstairs bedroom useless IMO:

Not useless… Its a nursery… lol
If the house has 2 bathrooms with tubs etc… what does it matter?
I thought of doing something similar, adding a tub to the downstairs half bath, then making the upstairs bathroom larger and only connected to the master.
Then I realized i have no time, talent or money.
Haha yeah if we stay here it’ll be a nursery within a couple of years.
Yes there’s a full bath upstairs and a full bath downstairs. Just a long walk for whoever gets the upstairs bedroom.
i’d leave it. you have another bathroom. master bedroom with bath is more valuable than the previous layout. old people want their own private bathroom.
I am PM me i can give you a few pointers to bring the house up in value.
FML. Had a realtor come tonight to tell us what needs to be done. My wife is excited because she thinks we’re going to move soon. I don’t fucking have time to move while I’m working full time and in night school, so I told her “OK, if the realtor says we can list the house for $XXX,XXX then we’ll put it up for sale.” Obviously I picked what I thought was way too high of a number, even knowing the realtor would be unrealistically optimistic.
Anybody want to buy a 4 bedroom 2 full bath 1780sq ft cape in a nice part of Tonawanda? :roflpicard:
It’s a 5 minute walk to Advanced Auto, which has come in handy on more than one occassion when the car was already up on jackstands and I needed something. :burnout:
