need advice

hey guys i was wondering if any of u know this car http://www.son240sx.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21766 and what u think about it. also what do u think about buying a car thats already done as oppose to doing it my self ive been told its worth the price. but i would like to know what u guys think.

i wud also like to know if anyone has a computer that shows engine knock and what is an ok knock reading

I’ve seen it and heard it in person, it seems pretty mint, sounds like a beast.

Personally I’d prefer to build my own 240 to my own personal tastes, but if you can nab one with an SR for a low price then it saves you a lot of hassle.

On a side note, aren’t you that guy who was being a jerk a while ago? (i thought you got banned… guess not)

gtr turbo lol!!! gtr turbo’s are about the same size as a ca18 stock unit. I’d get him to clarify on that.

u must have the wrong guy cuz i have no idea what ur talking about

Anyway slipperysilvia said he just put a new block in the car

GTR turbos spool quickly… but I wouldn’t push it too hard.

gtr turbos are diesnged to flow air for a 1.3L each, it just doesn’t make much sence to put a turbo on a motor that is smaller than the stock t25 on the sr.

buy my car instead!

lol ur car is way out of my league man lol do u finance

puttin a smaller turbo on a car gives you insane turbo response as opposed to the turbo made for it, smaller tubro also gives you better mid range torque and power falls short after mid RPM… and thats why Mazda gave the FD3S and sequential twin turbo small one til about 4000 RPM big on til redline

misconception, the twin turbo RX7 had 1.5 turbo’s in that they shared an exhuast housing…
