okay im a ford guy and i bought a 1995 chevy cavailer for a winter beater. I was told the transmission was bad when i bought but it does not seem like it. It will shift into gear and everthing just wont move. I was told by numerous people these transmissions normally dont go bad on these cars. I need some more help and input on what could else be wrong i really dont know these chevys. I want to try to get this fixed asap. The thing i did check on it i checked the trans fluid no metal or burnt smell coming from the trans so dont really know wht else to check. I will prob pull the trans pan off and check in there next. let me know wht you have.
