so hear is the story, one day my '92 240sx headlights stopped going up. both of them light up but will not rise. tried replacing the relay but now i have no more ideas as to wheat the problem could be. someone help please?
see if the motors for the pop up assembly is getting power. if it is but it’s not turning then the motor is shot, if it isn’t getting power then it’s probably a relay or switch or wiring.
Yep, you will need a volt meter to do it. Turn the switch on and put the volt meter on the connector leads that go to the motor and see if it reads 12V. If it doesn’t there is a relay or wire problem. If it does get 12V then the motor has gone bye bye.

tried relays already. no dice.
and i am hoping its not other wiring. i heard though that since both lights went at the same time it wouldn t likely be the motors.
