Anyways so there is supposed to be a yellow wire, and yeah well as the pictures tell… its absent of one.

hey dan, i talked to andre tonight.
he said i need to hook up a ground to the chasis, so the rev1 will work (in neutral)
he said the yellow wire is there but its farther back???
he is going to guide us over the phone hopefuly tomorow if your not busy, and if it still doesnt work then hopefully he can just help us with the install.
Its not farther back, anyone’s help is appreciated thanks a lot.
o and i need a switch for the rev1 mode to activate and turn it off.
i sent canadianskyline a message about it. lee suggested i asked him because he has one.
so we will see what he says.

Jeff I know what Im doing I know it needs a switch, it usually works on your ebrake. I understand how it works, but when it is absent of a needed wire its hard to wire…
SEE THAT BUTTON BELOW HAZARD SWITCH? ITS A PUSH IN BUTTON, LIKE A HORN, WORKS LIKE MAGIC.
ONE WIRE GOING TO THE GROUD WHERE STEREO IS, THE OTHER ONE IS RUNNING TO BEER UNIT. IF BUTTON IS NOT PRESSED AND GROUND IS ACTIVATED, IT’LL BE USING THE BLACK WIRE GROUND FROM THE CHASSIS AND FUNCTION ON UR REV1, WHEN PRESSED ITS UR REV2.
Yeah but Andre the whole thing is there is an absense of a yellow wire. thats the whole problem.

USE RED RED = POWER
BLACK BLACK = GROUND (UR REV 1 GROUND)
RED WHITE = YELLOW
GREEN = GREEN
BLACK WHITE= WHITE (REV2 GROUND) DONT CONNECT THIS UNTILL U CONNECT THOSE 4 ABOVE AND UNIT WORKS.

SOMETIMES, FOR SOME WIERD REASON GREEN AND (IN UR CASE RED WHITE) YELLOW HAS TO BE SWITCHED, THATS IF THE CAR DOESNT START, IF IT STARTS THEN U R FINE.
a problem still exists.
we tried to set it up today, and it was nothing but problems.
illumination light would come on but the revs wouldnt stop.
i dont think this would make a difference but do you have to have something hooked up for the rev1 and rev2 to be activated for it to run properly (like your horn button) because we didnt have one.
im not sure if it would make a difference.
when we were testing it we were in neutral, parked.
so im wondering if the rev1 wasnt being activated??
if niether is being told to be used then wich one or both will be running, rev1 or rev 2?
