The Windows 7 I downloaded activates via script right after install. No Bios editing, no nothing. All of my driver but audio installed by themselves, and all of my software so far has worked.
The only software I had an issue with was Daemon Tools. But I just used UltraISO to mount my iso’s so far. Photoshop, Nero, PowerDVD, Office 2007, FireFox, UltraISO, ImgBurn, etc. all worked.
LOVE Windows 7. SO much better than Vista and much nicer looking than XP.

RC1? I got myself Ultimate :). If everything goes good the next week or two in terms of software, I’m putting it on my laptop next.

I have the OEM version of Ultimate. It looks complete. I can get you a version number if you want when I get home. I can send you the torrent link as well.
The install was kinda slow…but I think it’s because of how the person who did it made the source. It runs a cmd window at the end that just sits there, but if you let it run and don’t touch a thing till it’s done, everything is activated nice and easy. It reads a script with a bunch of serial numbers in there from what I understand.
I probably wont mess with an OEM version as mine is running flawless right now and seems complete to me. When does Win7 get released officially anyway?

My OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (6.1, Build 7600)
Right now, with a few other programs installed, my C drive is: 30.9GB free of 49.9GB. The DVD itself was 2.06GB.

AMD just came out with a new card that’s got amazing specs. Not sure if it hurt the market. I got a buddy that works at AMD.
IIRC I heard about it the other day.
As of right now its the fastest single GPU card out on the market and is even better than most SLI/Crossfire setups…
But it probably costs an arm and a leg, which I could afford, but don’t want to lol.
