Nope, I was right, I told you to replace ALL the maintenance ignition items (cap/rotor/wires, not the plugs since you already did them). No reason to pinpoint something out of several items that all need to be done anyway.

+1
the sad thing is, I have noticed that aftermarket replacement parts for this Honda cost more then they do for my SS!!!
in comparison…
stock replacement wires (4) for the Honda, they wanted almost $40.
Aftermarket Taylor 12.5mm Wires for my SS, cost $50.
Distributor cap and rotor for civic= $40
Distributor cap and Rotor for my old 95 Blazer = $30
I thought Honda’s were cheap!!!
Nope, deff not cheap.
You have a 95 blazer SS??
funny!!
I had a 95 blazer for last winter…only time the thing was good was in snow storms with the 4WD! other wise, I hated it.
I love this civic. Not used to the gas mileage it gets! im going to be bummed when I go to drive my camaro and I can watch the needle go down even at idle! Civic sucks in the snow tho.
cheaper than autozone usually, and it’s oem parts. the difference between ordering parts for a honda and a chevy is, the honda will last longer, and the parts arent required to be changed on the daily.
hate to break it to ya, but this civic has already cost me more money in fix it parts then my SS in the whole 2 years I have owned it and I have only owned the civic 2 months!
and how many miles are on the civic compared to your SS? when was the last time you did a tune-up on your SS considering the civic probably hasn’t had one in years? the car is also a $1000 high-miled civic here, you get what you pay for.
I know guys with 200k+ bone stock LS1 cars still running low-mid 13’s!
I havent tuned up the SS yet. Just change the oil.
where did i say anything about 1/4 mile times?
considering running at the strip does more of a beating then everyday driving, I would say I used it as a example and it doesnt matter whether or not you brought up 1/4 times.
hondapartsdeals.com is an awesome place to get Honda parts. If i can’t get my shit through my dealer connection I go here. I worked a job @ that place for a week and the manager there knows his shit and is a good dude. Can definitely vouch for this place!
