K I just rebuilt my Ka24de(out of a 240sx) and I can start it but I notice a leak from the back of the engine where it meets the tranny, the leak only comes down the passenger side of the motor and I’d say its quite severe(for example I’d say 5-10 drops in about a min while the car is running).
when i rebuilt the motor I replaced the rear main seal and tighten the retainer bolts down to factory spec(I think it was like 7-10 ft/lb). the weird thing is it only leaks when the motor is running, when the car is off there is no leak(besides the residual oil that is there from the leak which is maybe 1-2 drops).
Does this sound like I install my rear main seal wrong or is it just the oil pan?
