I am picking up a mustang shell, problem is that it is a shell, and doesnt roll so I can’t tow it with my dolly. I’m located in Rotterdam and the shell is about 5 blocks from my house. Anybody with a trailer interested in helping out? I will pay cash. Flat bed is out because I need to load and unload it without damaging the shell/frame.
Is this a complete stripped chassis is it is really heavy? i move stripped s2000 chassis on a tilt snowmobile trailer and it works great.
We might be able to assist with this. What he said^ is it stripped, or partial.
Just get a couple buddies and walk it home.
Its just the unibody frame/shell with doors and fenders. No chassis what so ever. It’s actually in really good shape with excepton of the floor pans. I want to transport it without damaging the body or the integrity of the frame so I can weld in new pans and put it together. I can come up with a rear end and some wheels to throw under it, but all of the front end parts I have are going on the other shell that comes with it, which I can tow. I wanted to tow one, swap parts and tow the other, but I don’t think the guy will give me enough time do all of that. I need to do the shell first because it will be burried in my driveway for a couple of weeks until I make it roll and can make space in the garage it’s going in.
Heavy? nothing 4 guys couldn’t lift and carry onto a trailer. Complete, it’s a 2800lb car. No suspension, no interior, no Kmember, 1 door and 1 fender and decklid are off of the car, and I beleive all of the glass is out except widshield and rear window. So it really wont be too heavy
i can help you with a flatbed snomobile trailer but we’ll need another 2 guys (if you think 4 of us total can lift it)
