I have a HP touchsmart all in one and the wireless connection keeps cutting out. I dont believe its the wireless because the kindle, xbox, etc. never have a problem. it will cut out at weird times of the day, mostly at night. Its a secure connection with a PW so I dont believe anyone else is using it. I have to disconnect and then reconnect and it works for a few minutes. Sometimes it will be fine all night and then just start actin weird again. Any suggestions? I went on the HP forums and I guess there is a bunch of similar complaints but not rally any results.
I already try to update last week thats the first thing I tried but they took Vista off HP website on the update, how fucking stupid is that. So now how do I update?
I just tried the HP assistant but its only for windows 7 and above.
Are you using Windows to manage access point/wireless connection? I’ve seen many issues letting vendor wifi management control the AP’s.
Rip out wifi connection and re-add the AP?
If there are a bunch of similar complaints for the same product from people on an HP forum I’m guessing it’s not your internet and its your HP all in one, so doing anything to the internet/modem/router outside of the pc will not make an impact.
