i have done many brake jobs and never had a problem like this. the rear piston doesnt seem to goback in no matter how much i turn it, and my resovior is open as well. anyone have any ideas or suggestions? the piston almost seems to turn freely but wont go in.
try a c-clamp?
Uhh sure you don’t need to twist it? Are there notches on the piston?
Depending the ebrake setup you might…
is what the kit looks like harbor freight has them cheap or you could rent from autozone
Dumb question but I’m assuming this doesn’t have a internal drum parking brake so here goes…are you using the right tool to compress the piston while turning it in? It should take all of 30 seconds to get it back in if you have the right tool.
it’s the rear caliper, so just turning it clockwise. the c-clamp wont work
