need help with swap ka24e to ka24de

ok…my story is i got a s14 ka24de from a buddy off a 97 240. the 97 wiring harness was way to complicated for me to do since it was obd-II so i went another route. i swaped the distributor, intake manifold, and ecu wiring harness to s13 ka24de. the wiring harness i got was cut but i found the plugs to splice it back together. now my problem is it runs really rough and rich, i think its running in limp or safe mode. i dont have the o2 sensor hooked up yet cuz i haveta find one outa a s13 ka24de. but would the o2 sensor make it run this bad?

anyone out there with a running s13 ka24de? id like to go over my splicing in the harness to make sure its right. ill hook u up for ur time. thanks

yeah it is your 02 sensor. . .also which ECU are you using?

It would help if you said where you are located.
You NEED the o2 sensor, they are like 40-50 bucks at partsource or autovalue. Are you using the right maf?

opps located in edm…and ya i got the maf hooked up. i just want to take at the harness, brown and grey clip by the battery to make sure my splicing is rite.

Just making sure you’re using the 91+ maf. I remember having to deal with those two wires, but I don’t remember what I did with 'em.

are u talking about the 2 wires for grey clip, black with white stripe? i dont know wat to do with those either i conected them together but not sure if thats wat needs to b done.

go get an o2 sensor, it is an O2 sensor for a reason.Than scan ur ecu for codes…
