Need to talk to some one that has done a KA24e to a KA24de

I did a KA swap as well as a AT- MT swap on my 1990 240sx. Every thing is in but I cant get it running. I am all most sure that is has to do with the wiring but I can not figer it out for the life of me. Could some one that has done it plz chat with me so that I get figer this out and get my car running.

Cheers

Explain exactly how you did the wiring and then I might be able to tell you if you did anything wrong.

What happens when you try to turn it over?

well I got a KA24DE uper harnis with the Car but it was cut at the last 2 plugs so I had to splice them there and at the ECU. then I got a lower harnis from pickapart. For the most part it worked. It was from a KA24E. I have three spots left for plugs on the side of my fuce box and nothing to stick in them. Not sure it they where there for a AT or not. Pluss I dont quite have my new cluch in. For that Eng do you need one it to start it maybe? The car doesnt even turn over right now. all my lights work wipers work, dash lights work, but it will not turn the starter right now.

K lets take a step back here.

Did you get the brown plug that goes underneath the glovebox from the DE that replaces the white plug? Did you get the DE ECU?

check the gray oval plug under the fuse box. should be two thick wires (black with yellow stripe and a white). connect them togather. I had the same problem…

I got the DE ECU and the white plaug that was on the whit harnis is not the same at all. On the DE harnis its a green plug under the glove box and only has 2 wires from what I could see where as the white one from the E harnis has life 5 or more I think. I did find the gray plug that goes under the fuse box how ever.

I do have a plug that I cant find a place for that has to larg wires. One is Black/yellow and the other is black/white. Not sure if thats for any thing. Its coming out of the fuse box though.
