Hey guys!!! I need to get someone who can wetsand my carbonfiberhood (there is a 4 inch crack along it from when a auto shop dropped it when he shut it, and reapply the clear coat. Does anyone know of anyone who can do this or can do this themselves. Well let me know asap as I need to get this done right now. Thanks guys.
make the shop replace it, wtesanding the hood all the way down to the CF will screw up the cf in the process, unless the crack doesnt go down to the mat itself, but its a crap shoot

The hood is cracked, it will most likey never be the same. New hood for you dude.
i agree if a shop did that to my car i would tell them to replace it no question asked,or if they dont i would take them to court.
Why did the shop tell you that they wouldnt pay?
to make a long story short, friend of the family auto shop, he said he didnt do it. The car its on is sold now, the guy that bought wanted me to see if i could get it repaired or have it attempted to be fixed.
