Okay, so cat’s out of the bag, I’m leaving for Korea in two weeks. I’ll be gone for a full year or maybe more, and I’ll be putting my car into storage. Now, I had already cancelled my insurance policy, but my financing company informed me that they’re apparently not cool with that. I now have to get comprehensive coverage for the car somehow. I spoke with my old insurance company, and the best they can do, is suspend coverage for 6 months, which simply won’t do. Not only that, I have to have insurance the first month, and then suspend it after. I was told though, that there are brokers out there that deal specifically with storage policies, and they might be able to help me.
I’ll be glad to discuss the details of my departure and accomodations at a later time, right now I’m freaking out over wtf to do with my car. Selling it is 100% not an option. I am keeping this car no matter what. I’m also not able to buy it off of them either, so kinda screwed from that aspect too.
Anyone that knows a good broker that might be able to take care of this for me, and get me a comprehensive only policy for storage purposes, would be immensely appreciated.
