need PC gps help

I have a bluetooth gps (rikaline) connects fine to my ppc, even connects fine to my pc (com41) but microsoft streets and trips can’t find it, S&T 2005 for reference can’t find anything on line, anyone got any ideas?

there should be an option in the gps task pane for GPS device detection, right?

im not sure S&T even does true GPS.

it will only look for com ports on 3, 7, & 8

My BT gps is on port 41…

So change it to port 3,7 or 8 in the device manager

can’t bluetooth only allows it on port 41, its not configurable

Even the bluetooth com port itself - not the gps?

bluetooth controls the port, it auto-configures it and does not allow me to select a different port
