Anyone have any idea where I could find a Comp OEM lifter locally?
Tried RCS, Stropes, Greg’s Machine, Pittsburgh Crank. None in stock.
I have one lifter that’s just way too tight in the lifter bore, and I’m screwed on getting a replacement because of the weekend/holiday.
F*%k me, and f*$k Comp Cams!!! I might as well just leave this engine on the god damned engine stand until next f*#&ing year. :mad:

I’m not sure I want to mix one in with all the others being Comp. There was even a difference in roller-to-cup length between my OEM and the Comp OEM. Very slight difference, but enough that I could tell when checking my pushrod length.
Large dial calipers have been my friend during this project. 
get rid of the comps and get genuine GM!!

No, I ditched the Comp R’s after popping a few of the clips.
