new alero guy (WNY)

i never said i had “big plans” for my alero. i got this car at an auction last year and didnt like how it handled so i lowered it and got STB’s. and the headlights and taillights were blacked out. And i like the style of a Stratus R/T (the one id be getting) alot more than my alero. plus itd be 5 spd, 50 more hp, 2 door, sun roof, and leather.

tuner freak: nope bought this car stock, and cleaned it up a bit

true blue: ill load some pictures of the satellite up shortly, this winter its gettin motorwork/paint job

^thats my dads 71 challenger next to it

Not the only one. Heh.

I like you already.

Ignore newman, he’s just like that, you’ll learn to either live with it, or stick him on your ignore list.

welcome aboard

I’ve seen your pop’s car before, I think. Sassy Grass Green or Sub Lime? Yours looks pretty solid from what I can see, shock towers are rot-free and no firewall damage. I know the prices on the '71s are finally starting to come up, it was only a matter of time.

Anyway, enjoy

yea you probably have. he goes to quite a bit of cruise nights in it. The color is acctually lime green. he’s also restorin a '70 cuda as we speak. you’re right, there was only surface rust in a bunch of spots that i temp. fixed, and there was one place that rotted through that i had to cut open and weld a piece of metal to. other than that, my body guy thinks i might need a new pass. door (bottom is swiss cheese), but it may be savable. i just bought a new (freshly rebuilt) engine, that needs some cleaning, so ill be doing that…

when i first got it pics:
