I spotted this on Jalopnik this morning and still can’t decide if I think it’s cool or not.
What do you think about rat-rodding out a new car? Rad or Lame?
Poll on the way…

I want to like it, but I don’t really…
Maybe if it was a car that looked good to begin with.
I hate it. I don’t understand why anyone would take a brand new car and make it look like a at-rod. Everyone can tell it’s brand new, what’s the point? Make a real rat-rod.
what a waste
I don’t care what the VW idiots think, making a nice car look beat up is retarded. What’s next? Have ugly broads pose on the hood for pictures?
"now it looks like 95% of Camaro’s 15 years and older. All they had to do was wait. "
lol
Soo bad!
I kinda like it…Very Mad Max-ish
It’s ridiculous.
You can’t polish a turd
Dislike. It looked so good before, now it just looks like shit.
yuck
Let a car get “ratty” naturally, faking it is lame.
stupid
Rat Rod isn’t just about looks, the whole culture of it, and the reason why they’re built is what makes them awesome usually. Pouring money into a project is just about as far away from Rat Rod-ing as it gets. $150k? lol
This is just a giant fail.
But apparently you can sand it.
Epitome of lame.
Looks like 99% of 3rd gens rollin the streets. Good job idiot
If it had been driven hard enough to make it that haggard, that would be cool.
Exactly, but it hasn’t. Ughhhh.
FUGLY!
