yeah she actually got the prototype lol
found a decent deal on a fusion SEL. pretty loaded. 09 with 5k miles for 13,900. worth a test drive?
my boss has a fusion, its a very nice car. he loves it (came from a cherokee), and its a nice riding car. I havent seen too many negative reviews on them
you have anything you wanna sell me griff? acura? bmw?
The newer malibu’s have a six speed auto trans with the v6… They are the one I would get.
Wait a year, and buy one used.
vw’s are sweet
the malibu’s are really nice. They put the new Accord to shame in the comparison test from notorious Honda humpers Car and Driver when they won car of the year…even C&D couldn’t believe it.
Malibus are great cars to buy used or lease otherwise its very hard to beat the value you get with the accord.
^ is still cant find where the malibu put the accord to shame?
The accord has been a proven reliable car year after year, there is really no long term data for the malibu, it just doesn’t have the reputation
it was in car and driver around january 2008ish. I remember reading it then because i convinced my cousin to test drive one before she bought a honda then and she ended up getting it.
i’ll have my SLK for sale in a few weeks, but that is a bit small for your needs
i do have a 2000 passat wagon with a blown motor for $2k if you want…
nah…looking for something newer than 07 and not broken.
ok…have it narrowed down a little. found 2 pretty decent options. please give me some feed back/pros and cons:
2008 Altima 2.5S - black 20k miles - $17k
2009 Fusion SEL - silver 5k miles - $14k
they are somewhat comparable as far as the car itself is concerned. the fusion has way more options, heated mirrors, sync system etc. and is newer/less miles. but do i want to buy a ford? i havent driven a fusion yet, but i took the altima out today a i freggin love it. the smart key system is pretty sweet.
Altima - Nissan, reliable, resale, 20k isn’t close to breaking it in, looks nice and is probably pretty comfy. The only downside that I can think of is that it’s black. Probably good for 200k miles.
Fusion - it’s less than a year old and already selling for $14k. :roflpicard: Probably going to be a pretty decent vehicle until 75k. Silver stays clean.

that was my first thought.
done deal…next week i will be the proud new owner of a 2009 nissan altima. i got a deal that i couldnt even think of passing up.
09 2.5 S
8k miles
still under 3/36k btb warranty
clean title and carfax
$14,750…
suck it mike barney. i just need to drive to cleveland to pick it up.
Want to buy a 2003 Camry with 142k, 4 cylinder 5speed with a brand new clutch for 7500? South Carolina car, no winters!!!
:gotme:
EDIT: Nevermind, just noticed you want newer then 2007
the post above you says what i just bought.
Altimas are nice cars, only problem i had selling them was the damn cvt tranny… They are hit and miss, some are great and some are nightmares…
FYI if you hold down the unlock button on your smart key your windows will all go down =)
Car and Driver doesn’t do “car of the year”. They do 10 best.
I do not like the new Accord at all. I’d buy a Fusion over a Malibu though. What awful steering that car has. Cheap interior, too.
