This was my mom’s car which we bought nearly new in '10. She wanted a new vehicle, and will be daily driving the new Tacoma, unless I need it…
Anyways, I absolutely love the Si, always have, especially this one. The 8th gen. Civic was a real home run in my eyes, and the Si was one of the best to date. It is tons of fun, reliable, comfortable, and all those other great things you hope to find in a DD…
I remember when your mom moved from the spec… Was a great replacment my mom went in a different direction from her spec to a vw Jetta Tdi…
But I blame that on her son being a euro car nut.

It is not really like the Type R was…I mean the engine feels similar, but the Type R just felt so…light…in every way possible. It really was a fast car, or at least a fast feeling car…this car feels much heavier and much more grown up…which is great, bec. it is really comfortable pretty much all the time, with the option of being pretty damn quick if you feel so inclined…I am glad to have owned both, that is for sure…both tremendous cars in their own right…
