On July 28th the inaugural Slide event will set the stage for the most intense drifting shootout in Canadian motorsport history. Hosted at non-other than the ICar motorsport complex in Mirabel, Quebec.
Slide is simply not just another drifting event. For the first time ever drivers will have to pre-qualify through an online registration procedure. They will have to prove that they have what it takes to compete at Slide by sending: their accomplishments, their credentials and video footage of their drifting skills. Twenty drivers will be selected to compete for the Slide title and an unprecedented winner takes all first place prize of $10,000, all this without having to pay a registration fee.
Registration Process: Any drifter whose vehicle matches the technical requirements found in the rule book can register to compete at Slide. From the registrations 20 drifters will be selected to compete. The first 16 drifters will be selected by our panel of judges and the final 4 will be selected by our fans.
