I think that’s precisely the problem here. It’s a great commuter car. But it’s slow, plain, boring, and not in any way deserving of the work that’s getting put into it. Don’t come in and talk about your ricer fan club, posting pictures of a LOL 2F2F riced Sentra, and get offended when people point out that it’s uglier than before now that it’s been stupidly modified.

well coming from a sentra owner I see your like these asshats.I have seen you on myspecV btw.I know the sentra’s aint the best no matter what trim it is 1.8s are slow and specV’s have precat failures andbutterfly ghey screws. Seriously, that’s my point. You’re talking about a car that the top trim level is about the same as my MINI in 0-60 and quarter mile, but worse off in handling. It’s a fine car, but it’s not fast, and it’s NYSpeed, not NYRice (or NYExotics, as you noted). Sure, we’re happy to have a car enthusiast here. No, we don’t want to hear endlessly about the Sentra Syndicate or the Spectra Society or anything like that, and of course we’re going to relentlessly make fun of an econobox with suicide doors, 4 racing seats, and a claim that “even Vida Guerra sat in it.”
Most of the people here are performance enthusiasts, we’re not ricer enthusiasts, you won’t find many people excited about tarted-up econoboxes like your friend’s, unless they have obscene performance numbers. At least, that’s my opinion.
I have no idea what you just said. Also, bragging about getting 17 or 26, or whatever forums members, and how you needed to get a staff and have chapters in other cities, in 3 months, is just adding to this. Great, I’m glad you have a car club. I’m glad to see enthusiasts out there. I’m also glad you like your car. But you’re acting like absolute bare-bones basic forums organization feats are accomplishments you should be bragging about - and you’re treating a riced Sentra like it’s some kind of automotive work of art that deserves praise. People are calling you on that, and that’s why we’re having this argument in the first place.
