Hey everyone! New guy from the general Buffalo area here! Not only am I new to the site but I’m very new to performance driving as well. It’s something I very recently started looking into. Heh, I honestly don’t even have a car ready for it yet. But I heard about the site from a couple guys at work and have come here every day for a week or so now learning the basics! So any advice or tips are always appreciated!

Well, I was originally looking into buying a 06 or later Civic Si. But, financially and for the sheer fact that I’m new to stick shift as well, it’s probably not the best idea. Haha, right now I’ve been looking at possibly getting an 02-ish Acura TL Type S.
Anyone have any other ideas for possibly a good starter car to get me on the right track? Thanks! 
go for an older car. cheaper parts fewer emmisons lower insurance costs. and u wont feel as bad if it gets damaged
