Hey guys, new to the forums here, when did this site get started?
Anyhow hope to supply and get plenty of info while im here.
hey! Welcome to TNC! this is the second year of the club
Welcome to the club What are you driving and do you have pics?
I own a 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE. I just bought it in November of last year. Have been a Honda owner for too many years. Just got bored of slow factory cars. I previously owned 1998 Honda Accord V6, 1991 HOnda civic, 1998 Honda civic Si SOHC Turbo and now the Altima. I’ve had way more cars then that, but figured this wasn’t the place to advertise it. Anyways its nice to be here. I’ll post pics as soon as I get them.
nice any mods done to the altima??
No mods yet. Thinking about a Vibrant cat-back for now. I have a stereo system from my old car, but quickly realized it wasn’t going to work unless i changed all the speakers, so im thinking about going with a line input for RCA cables and hooking up my sub and amp that way. Still debating suspension, i notice the rear sits or “looks” a lot lower then the front, so I’ll probubly go with something adjustable like Tein, and some rims for sure. Other then that I have no real plans for “power adders” I think the cars fast enough the way it is for a 4 door family sedan.
hey whats with the mebership fee? I saw that it was $15 at one of the meets and it says $20 on the site? Any ideas?
yea i hate how they made the fenders, the front is higher than the back. I put sportlines on mine recently, looks nice! and it evens it out!
I have no idea what membership is…im pretty sure it was $15. unless they changed it…
Hey i recently installed the vibrant catback on my Altima SE 3.5 give me a shout if you want see what it looks like installed. maby meet somewhere if your in the GTA
How much you get it for? How about some pictures or a soundclip?? This is the only soundclip I can find of the exhaust.
hey man welcome to the site.
I had a civic also a blue on little bubble back frankenstine motor turbo i was pullin some nice power almost 410whp … got tired of it and got my s14. so much nicer. ive been threw alot of nissans in the past 2 years so ill keep the s13.
if you want to know what to do to ur ride talk to kazz (mod) has the same car you do.
cheers
Welcomeee
Mines sounds better maby because i have the manual transmission. autos and loud exhaust don’t mix. If you looking for HP, I get a little on the top end because I can hold my revs, I don’t think it will do anything for the auto. i paid $600 from racingline performance.com and i picked it up at the vibrant warehouse.
Is the vibrant cat back really loud?? From that video it sounded pretty quiet. Let me know how it really sounds. Maybe will have to meet up sometime so I can get a listen, i’ll assume video is no substitute for the real thing.
Sitting in the car its loud, from outside its not loud at all. it really sounds good in underground parking lots. that video does not do it justice. I drove up my street on Saturday with a little gusto…some kids around 12 started shouting yo nice car and one fat kid said thats a Nissannnnn… future TNC member for sure…so it gets noticed…the kids were far from the car too.
I guess I’m going to have to vito that idea then, I really don’t want a loud exhaust on the car, after all I do have 2 kids. Anyone do a resonator removal on there car?? Hows that sound??
The damn exhaust is on sale for $570.00 now at Raceline!! Man we have to meet up, I really have to hear your exhaust now. Let me know if your free sometime this week to meet up. Thanks
Make that $561.00 Canadian.
