grants escort never made 180hp. he made 157 on the dyno. but hey i know/ live with grant that had the escort with the gtx swap, now its in a lil 323. but welcome to nyspeed.

157whp ~= 190 crank horse (17% drivetrain loss). Sounds like a 180hp motor to me. Unless it made 157hp on an engine dyno.
no it was innovative dyno i thought those were wheel numbers …sorry for acting like an ass. but i think that was with the gt ecu and not the gtx i think it was about 150 to the wheels with the gtx ecu. soo it should be around 180 at the crank. and the tq those motors put out is nice.
ya i know your friend i was over there not to long ago to get a steering colum out of that red gt in the yard
the engine only has 8:1 comp not to sure if its 8 psi stock but the 150whp is good enuff with the 180tq he made
hes only pushing 6psi at the moment but he also has the bigger housing. so i dont know.
