New toy for this summer!!!!!!

siq yo

I dont know if I want to sell my bike and upgrade, or get out of the game. Im 19 and have had way too many close calls. 99% were other drivers.

what do you ride… i know a guy selling an 05 gsxr 1000… would be a perfect upgrade  lol…

lol, gs500. Does your bike come with a free cemetery plot?

^^^^planning ahead nice

ill be selling life insurance soon, so maybe we can work something out ;)… check back in early february when i’m fully licensed

sweet! I would love to have a bike, but I would be afraid of killing myself while learning.

you’re normally fairly safe during the first month or so… thats when the invincibility sets in and downhill from there… i think the statistic i heard when i started was if you make it past 90 days of regular riding your chances of survival on a bike increase by 200%

first 30 days = learn the basics
next 30 days = become adequate basics
final 30 days = become invincible, try new things, make mistakes, get hurt

theres some truth to it, if you’ve ever ridden… esp in the pre-25 age

Everytime i go riding, i still learn alot… many things become second nature, but alot of things need to be reminded, especially at the beginning of the season.

Nice bike… be safe… if you ever have any questions feel free to ask

100% false imho but thats just my experience with riding. I dont want to turn robs thread into a motorcycle how to course. Then again i wasn’t the average squid going out and riding like a retard my first summer…

im a nice guy when its not my period…

im pretty sure riding a dirtbike at the age of 5 and till now helped, robs got a quad, im not sure if he knows how to ride it all the way LOL. but like willy said, a lot becomes second nature. some jackass decided to spike his brakes for no reason in front of me on the harley. i dropped a few gears got some front brake and some back, the bike started to slide. so i let it slide like i was sliding into a berm lol slide to the back of the guys car and rested my foot on his bumper. but something like that i knew i could save. if im letting a 20,000 dollar bike down i dont wanna be awake to see it
