is there an upgraded main shaft for the 6060 i know they are similar to the t56 but im not sure if the main shafts are interchangeable. i know the ssr t56s have 32 spline vs the 27 which you probably have. i just upgraded my t56 to a viper mainshaft. they are very easy to rebuild. you might as well put billet syncro keys and bronze shift fork pads since you have to completely disassemble it anyhow.

Very true I could have done this…but they were being a lil shady since I had a cage in my vehicle.
Well RPM is supposed to be making a full rebuild with much stronger components for my TR6060. Lets see how they do.

You sure that parts are not compatible from the T56? The T6060 is the OEM version of the T56 magnum, you would think the parts would interchage.

matt i’m positive that the magnum parts do not fit or ppl would have already done that. AND ONCE AGAIN DRIVE SHAFT SHOP F*cked the main shaft for the trans…more waiting time. THIS IS GETTING REFRICKINDICULOUS.
As some of you may know I shredded my output shaft back in November. I figured that I will wait and get an aftermarket one since I kinda go by the whole why replace stock if you already broke it. Well its now end of April and we still have zero transmission support. RPM trans has my transmission but they are not the ones making the hard parts. For some reason, someone obviously much smarter than I, decided that the Drive Shaft Shop should make the main shaft for the transmission. Why you would choose a company that has never made transmission parts before is beyond me. But none the less they have tried to make the main shaft 4 times now…every time resulting in failure. I’m getting fed up with this lack of ability. IF anyone else would like to make or knows of someone else making a main shaft please let me know. In the mean time does anybody know where I can buy a stock transmission so I can at least enjoy my car.

This just in…she lives. Heads swapped on fairly easily. Cog gears swapped on to the rear of the sc, and the rod bolts are in. Still looking into driveshaft options. Fuel system is still MIA. Minor rework on the tune 10.8afr’s with methanol for now and seems boost jumped from 6.5 to 10psi…Cog drive will either be ftw win or the death of me. But she seems pretty quick for now. Tune definately needs alot more work. Hopefully see it on the track once we have a driveshaft.
