new toys for the upcoming track day.

since getting track tires, my car went from nice and neutral to having a lot of under steer…

so to fix that I present my new toys:

>25MM REAR SWAY BAR
>NEW SWAY BAR BUSHINGS
>STOUT MOUNTS
>ADJUSTABLE END LINKS

I got this all for the insanely cheap price of $333 shipped thanks to a deal being run by perrin.

can’t wait to throw them on and dial it in.

I’m also planning to lower the front of my car and add just a little more camber - but I can’t do that until I close on my new house due to already having problems getting into my current driveway.

check out this before vs. after on the mount:

Nice change in mount style, wanna let me borrow it before you install it?

you want to borrow the mount? Perrin does sell just the mounts for $134 before any sort of discount. We could arrange something if you’re thinking it might work on one of your projects.

I am, just wanna hold it up and see if it fits wont be mounting it or anything

Good to see the house isn’t cramping your car-parts buying style :stuck_out_tongue:

very nice:)

good choice

What suspension do you have on the car ?

buddy club racing spec with a custom spring/valve, 7k front, 9k rear, whiteline front roll center correction kit.

mike: I’m sure we can work something out.

I need to take a ride in your setup soon.

sure thing… best when combined with the nitto NT01s

Nice pickup.

wat?

with a lot more traction, the character of the car changed. The car just pushed into turns a lot more.

Sweet, track day mods. That will actually be put to use!

X…

I’m envious of all the nice parts you suby guys get. People actually think of bumpsteer/roll centers?

Could you tell me more about what is included in the roll center correction kit?

That isn’t a Subaru…

This doesn’t make sense, somehow you gained traction in the rear and lost traction in the front?

edit: nice mods though

Or he gained more traction in the rear versus the gain in traction of the front which still unbalance the car compared to previous setup. Considering that with the 3-legged stance these cars tend to have on sharp turn ins ( soft springs, rigid chassis, horrible roll center ) in stock form, efforts to keep the rear wheels on the ground tend to add to the overall grip potential but change the dynamic state of the car significantly.
