Hubby ordered a new 08 F250 Super Duty Diesel (twin turbo) Crew Cab lariat. Should arrive next week. He’s been talking and talking about “banks power system” that he saw advertised somewhere, so I googled it and found this. Sent in an application for him :bigthumb: Wonder if they’ll contact him?

Yeah… Banks kinda sorta knows what they are doing champ. And most beta test programs like that they will cover damages, though I haven’t worked with Banks on one before.
It’s a term that comes from the software industry (sorry, I’m a n3rd). As defined by Wikipedia:
These days it’s been extended to most industries with any sort of product release cycle. In fact, I could be wrong and it coud have been in use long before software… but I’m pretty sure that’s where it originated.
Testing cycles. Commonly used in technology (software releases, etc…)
Alphia is initial testing where the product will be released to just a couple of people to test it, usually for free.
Then comes the beta release, which would be something like 25% of your customer base and somewhat of a discount, or maybe even full price on the product.
After that is all said in done, the product usually goes into full production/release.
