Name another car that can match it’s performance #s straight off the showroom floor…not only in a straight line. There is none…11.3 will toast most 200K+ cars…not to mention how that thing handles
not me :hs:
I was just reading, there is a guy in a bone stock C6 who ran a 12.48 @112 in a A4…not bad for bone stock.
so what exactly would be sufficient performance for it to be worth the $70,000 price tag…being a Chevy and all.
but i’m sure if Nissan made the exact same car tho, it’d be the greatest value around :weak:
No it wouldnt. Thats exactly why the skyline is going to flop here. Because nobody will pay $60,000 for a nissan either.
i dunno. when there r vipers that are 80 g’s+, those ford gt40s for 100-some and exotics for even more, i dont see how the Z06 isnt a good deal, considering what it does…i dont care who makes it. and im sure it’ll sell just fine…especially cause im willing to bet that over 80% of ppl on this site would buy one if they had the cash. i’d like to know what else you would buy in that price range for the money?
I’d probably build something I guess.
Actually that nurburgring comparison may have changed my mind. For the money I guess its a decent ride when compared to the supercars.
It just sounds weird i guess saying $70,000 chevy. Would you ever consider paying $70,000 for a mustang if it posted similar numbers?
It’s not a Chevy. It’s a Vette.
Seriously, the bang for the buck factor of the Z06 is unbeatable…that is TRULY world class, exotic stomping performance for a fraction of the cost of any other cars performing near it’s caliber.
ya i would. i mean i’m a GM guy but if there was no C6 Z and instead ford had a 70,000 cobra that put up identical numbers…i’d drop the money down for it (assuming i had it). if u think about it, ppl have been paying 80g’s for years for ‘a dodge’, so what the hell…if something that is 10 g’s cheaper and is better performing, then there isnt much difference…regardless who makes it.
Hmmmmmm I went 11s NA what did u go NA hmmmmmm thats right u needed a power adder. Give it up homo Ill always own u.
Yea. I may have used a power adder, but i had 4 less cylinders. Ass hat.
I thought we were talking about C6 Z06’s (the baddest car on the planet)
god damn that’s a lame ass excuse.
and about the vette. It is a nice car and all but I personally don’t like them. At least the gt and the viper look exotic, the zo6 looks like every other vette out there.
We were until sam had to stick his vagina in my business.
We just delivered a C6 Z06 today,
$81,000.
F that
Damn either that thing was decked out crazy or that dude got lumped. I see most people saying they got theirs for 71K-72k… 72k with tax and plate ect is like 77.5K.
even so…i’d rather pay 80 for the c6 z than a viper, so whatever…but that is alittle higher than i’d expect them to sell at.
