Newb.

I’m a member over on BuffaloScooby, IWSTI, NASIOC, and a few of the Porsche forums. I drive a 2002 Subaru Impreza and a 1995 Porsche 911. I’ve been autocrossing, rallycrossing, and participating in trackdays with the SCCA and PCA for the past 3 years. My dad has been autocrossing/racing since the early 70s. His track cars include a 1994 Ferrari 348 TS Challenge and a 1972 Porsche RSR, I’ll get some pics up of those, too.

Awesome cars. Nice to see more people active in racing joining up on here!

welcome

nice cars

Thanks for the welcome, guys! I was a little hesitant at first to join, heard mixed things.

Nice 993. I take it the '72 is a rep?

Look forward to more photos, I’m surprised I havent run into you.

RSR is real. He’s had it for a VERY long time.

Pics or ban!

Hahaha. I’ll be in Albany this weekend (where he lives). If we have time, I’ll cruise out to where it’s stored and snap a few pics. I had a pic of it from when we lived in Houston, but, the site where it was (PinnacleMotorsports.com) seems to be down now.

Ah man… I cant shake you! I guess to even it up I will have to join one of the Porsche forums!

nice shots! that porsche is awsome, welcome!

Oh yeah, is your 993 supercharged? Factory they are 281bhp, a jump to 375whp is huge.

It will be, yes. The supercharger is on the way. We were trying to figure out what we wanted to do to it, 3.8 TT swap or supercharged. We chose supercharged. We’re also going to be taking the hydraulic rocker arms out, replacing them.
