Newman's 1986 BMW 326rb build thread.

I’m gonna go ahead and agree with you there

How close is it going to be to the hood of the car? Chances are the heat may affect the paint on the underside of the hood, no?

Heat wrapping has been covered a billion times. I am going to do it, but not until after I’m sure there aren’t going to be any leaks/cracks…

Also, I have a CF hood, for the record. (not that it makes it any better…)

i hear you can have the dp and such coated for about 200 to 300 bucks

got this from a reliable source

It’s with an S. We dumped that faggot Z awhile back. And I hope the car is ready for it.

You’ll make it. As long as you keep it in your girl pants and out of other girls pants.

I cannot wait to see some pro pictures of this.

You need to get IANK on board for a photoshoot.

dont lose focus!

I am really stoked for blown euros. I hope a good amount of people get their projects done myself included.

IanK is not available I have kidnapped him and he now does slave labor for me. Either that or he is my indentured servant. I lent him $2 for a soda at 10,000% interest compound hourly. If you want him to take pics I can rent him out for $50/hr

LMK

lol youre having a hard time living euroZZZZ down huh

AWESOME.

I’m hoping to have the Z, or maybe something else to take down with me.

Awesome progress Newman. Cant wait to see it on the street.

True story. Ive been given a short break to post this LOL. Back to editing pitcures for Drew :whip:

You wouldn’t be think about getting another street car would you ???

Keeping this AWD right?

looks like we will all have new euroZZZZZZ to take…

Maybe I missed it, but what tune do you plan on running?

I am planning on using a lebanese tune for 98RON

this would be way sweeter for a tune

I would have it all coated first. The stuff on the skyline was coated and it got hot enough to melt some wiring… Not that there is much real estate to work with in there but yeah. Heat coating and wrap is a great idea on top of shielding or wrapping for crucial areas and harnesses. Check the heat shield product that APS uses in their kits that stuff rocks.

Id be concerned about the additional heat that will be introduced to the already warm brake fluid.

why do u need power brakes?
