im gunna write in to the standard (our local st catharines news paper) to explain the difference between street racing and driving in a straight, unifrom line
hoepfully a few cops read it and understand that theyre idiots.
ofcourse i wont do it all angry and frustarted, ill use my head and write something intelligent and worth reading.
we’ll see if they print it
discuss how us “street racers” could invest our hard earned money elsewhere then.
perhaps drugs, alchohol, weapons, fuck, toronto seems to have no problem owning guns.
maybe we could just all go to the casino and blow everything.

I didn’t know that was Mikeys until after…I wondered why he was taking it so easy.
Glad I made the trek down. It was a blast. I wish I could have stayed for the cruise, but I left at 8pm, when the cruise started up, and rolled into my driveway at 3:30, so I could be up at 6:30 for work. Gotta pay to play.
That, and I dodged a $500 speeding ticket by the grace of an outstanding OPP officer, as he stood beside me in my car sans exhaust… I’ll post up my whole epic weekend in the Car Chat later. It’s fairly spectacular. Complete with pictures…

Thanks goes out to Bing and everyone else from SON… This was my 4th year coming to Niagara and its always more than worth the trip. You guys always treat us wicked and show us a great time… Put on another and we will all be there again 100%…

FYI:
apparently the cruise was called in to the police many many times over the course of the evening.
i’m just getting some info on it now.
i have a feeling we are going to have to change things up next time around.
A few things that might help next year.

Police escorts, front rear and in the middle of the cruise to keep people in check.

no stopping at the ends of peoples driveways and idling for 20 minutes (I’d be pissed if 75 cars pulled over on the side of the road and blocked off my driveway)
There were a lot of people in to it, but also a lot of people who were very not impressed.
On top of everything, people were taking pee breaks on people front lawns, on their fences, etc. In plain view.
I’m not saying I would never do it, because I would, but that’s the sort of thing that attracts negative attention.
yeah, apparently the exact words were… “50 cars are together getting ready to street race”
i dont think we are going to be able to do that anymore.
