It was swapped at some point…the 7 bolt swap was probably dirt cheap or something along those lines.

Aren’t aggresive clutches one of the BIGGG factors when it comes to them crank walking? Would make sense I suppose
guys…i actually believe that he might find a 6 bolt in there
Sorry to disappoint, its 100% a 7 bolt. Oil pan indent bumps in.
not uncommon to buy a dsm on its 2nd+ motor
previous owner did the clutch, he is 100 sure its a 6 bolt… its a 6 bolt lol. did you ever check the oil??
Why was it advertised as a 7 bolt then? I did check the oil, it was low the day it walked, but long before then (when the oil/all fluids were topped off within that week), the car stalled making a right turn randomly. First thing I did when it did this was check the oil, it was full. The car did it a few more times throughout my month of having it. It did that the night I brought the car home as well. So if it was walking, I helped it along, but it was walking when I got it.
I should not have gotten this car.
shoulda bought a honda
look on the top left of your motor on the side of your valve cover… If you see a cam angle sensor its a 6 bolt.
BTW nick if you LIKE the car its really not hard to fix… prolly end up being free in the end… I can find you a rusted 1g gst complete for like $1,200 or less… You take out the motor and sell the rest.
didnt 1g 7bolts have that too?
HUHHHH??
buy parts car, use what you need… sell everything. It could be free is what he’s saying. But in this case it probably wont be
