i can think of a whole bunch of other cars that could be made to track better than this thing. i dont see why people are getting all bent out of shape over this
90% of the people in this thread cant afford one, and even if they could, it’s not like you would buy one. Why are people constantly humping everything that comes out about it?
jeez you guys, how expensive do you think GTRs are now? Thewird’s mom just picked one up for winter. They’re well off but not rich, I think they paid 70k CAD? This car isn’t a buggati, you can’t write off the mechanical issues by saying people who buy them can afford to fix them. I’ve seen three GTRs now driving in the winter (1 silver, 1 black, 1 gunmetal).

The US base price is 80k on a new one.
I guess its two types of people. Someone who abuses the T and C of the car is someone who has the money to blow and buy it for racing.
People who have only enough to buy it and DD it seem like the ones bitching about how launching it at every red light beats the car up and its made like crap. 
If I had a spare 80k laying around, I sure as hell wouldnt buy this car. It would be too fun to be stuck driving in the city street and not being able to enjoy it. Haha
Why did we bailout GM? Was it so they could make more profit?
No.
We bailed them out to keep tens of thousands of people employed. During that time they have to come up with a restructuring plan that will make them profitable in the long run. The existing bail out was just to keep people working. This is the point I’m making, I’m not sure which part of it you or kocksuki is missing.
If we just locked the doors at GM while they were trying to come up with a plan … which would have been the most profitable, we wouldn’t need people working.
