I read this earlier today and it doesn’t bother me one bit. They were heading in the wrong direction with the evo.
I’d wouldn’t be surprised if Mitsubishi pulls itself out of this market altogether, I know they’ve also killed the Eclipse, too. Sauce is weak.

Yea the X was a poor design. But w.e nothin lasts forever. This will give us evo guys even more reasons to enjoy our cars by beating the shit outta them this spring lol.
I appreciate the Evo X.
It was a well thought out, sophisticated technical car. The new motor is putting down good reliable numbers as the 4g63 did before it, and the drivetrain is really modern in comparison to subaru or other competitors.
The only thing I did not like was that it looks like a base lancer with no real distinguishing marks.
I’m sad to see mitsu go in a different direction.
Mitsu sucks. When they released the new Evo prototype I said hell no… Better they won’t be releasing it now.
I liked the X, not at first but it eventually grew on me.
I liked the X and personally think this is going to hurt STi’s in the long run. Where’s the competition and benchmark?
