Not a Spec V

Hi everyone, you’d think with a name like Spec-Sentra that I owned a Spec V. Well I used to. I’ve also owned a couple 510’s and a 620 with a removeable hardtop. My current Nissan was based on a 2002 Sentra XE. In 2001 in Ontario, Nissan made limited number of XE’s available for a “spec” racing series. (hence my name)These cars were made without radios, or any of the other ‘standard’ goodies that normally came on an XE. Mine has never seen the street, and shows only 6700 kms on the odometer.

The car has mostly saftey mods, I’d like to flash the computer, just don’t know how yet.

I will be racing at Race City this summer. If you’d to lend a hand, I could always use some extra help.

Thanks, Trevor.

Welcome to the board, and wow that is a really interesting Sentra you’ve got there, I’d love to see some pics of this thing, so for an engine it has the SR?

hmm that sounds like quite the diffrent sentra, i would love to see pics as well. and yah what kinda engines in that bish?

I think his car is the lime green road racer that was posted here earlier. Interesting that Nissan would sanction a race series like that…I wonder how many they sold!

Probably a QG.

This is the Screaming Green Sentra listed earlier, the motor is the 1.8 that was all new in 2002? (I’m an old skool Datsun guy, I’m not up on the JDM or newer motor names, if it came out after the KA or SR I only know them by displacement, but I’m sure I’ll catch on). I believe that 24 of these cars made it into racing. CAI and open exhaust are the only power mods, a header and computer reflash are next. Coil overs are in the works for 2007.
